9th - 12th Grade
W.H.A.T. meets every Sunday from 6:30-8:30 pm. Most meetings start with a Bible study session for the first hour and finish up with a game. And the games can be a bit...unusual, but always awesome! The first Sunday of every month is a game night. If you haven't been to church in a while (or ever), or been to youth group before come on a game night. We meet upstairs in the Community Room at 6:30 and then play a big group all campus game until 8:30. I always recommend that you bring friends along too. See you Sunday night.
GLADIATOR GAMES ARE COMING!

Youth Minister: Matt Walton
303-733-3777 Ext 117
Matt grew up in Northern California but also lived in South Orange County, California. He graduated from Concordia University, Irvine and received his first call to teach 4th grade at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church and School. He taught 4th, 6th and 7th grade for six years. During that time he met his beautiful wife Agatha and they were married. Just before their first child, Cassidy, was born he transitioned into youth ministry for his church where he was Youth Director for four years.
During that time Matt and his wife welcomed their son, Phoenix, into their family. Matt's hobbies include reading, writing media-based Bible studies, singing, basketball, baseball, football, MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) and watching lots of movies! He also enjoys creating crazy games that connect to themes in scripture so that the youth can experience something new pretty often. Most of all, he enjoys working through the Word and his faith in a community setting with peers and youth so that each can be raised up in discipleship of Christ!
